about:
Creation Is Crying Out...
Rom 8:19-25
"For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility... For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now... even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body. For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with perseverance..."
"we were crying out before..
for the emptiness and lack of true love..
to be filled and satisfied..
we had the privilege to hear the Good News first..
and we received it..the life that is more abundantly..
but now..there are others out there..
with groanings..
for the adoption and redemption of their bodies.."
lets think about michael jackson for a while..he is well known as the King of Pop..he is one that draws crowds like no other..his concerts sells out almost immediately..
he has done concerts for almost 3.5 million people at one setting..
but as i look through his pictures..
one stark truth revealed itself to me..
he is revealing himself as a son of God..
all of you may retort..
"is michael jackson a CHRISTIAN?"
well, i don't know...
but all i can deduce from the pictures is..
he used his talents..made them SHINE..
he was in his element..
and i sincerely believe..
God is glorified.
why? cos' he is God's creation!
and his talents are from Above..
and just look at how people crave for him..
love him, adore him..
chanting, " michael! michael! michael!"
doesn't sound a little like the scene when Jesus was walking through the marketplace..
multitudes pressed forward..
all crying out "Jesus! Jesus!..Hosanna in the Highest!"
John 12:322
"But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself."
or let's consider an American football game..
one of the largest stadiums in the world, Michigan Stadium..housed a hundred thousand people all fixed on the game happening on the centre field..every one cheered, roared and in all unity with one heart and one mind..supported their desired team into victory!
and i was thinking..how can a football game draw such a big crowd, when my church with the most awesome God and the GREATEST message on Earth draws only a tenth of what they have..
then i realize..everyone needs a purpose..everyone wants to have a destiny..everyone wants to feel a part of something big..everyone wants to be united to something greater and larger than themselves..the sense of awe and satisfaction u feel when what you have put your heart and your soul into wins and becomes victorious...is indescribable!
and can we satisfy that need?do we really have something in our lives that is far greater and better than ourselves? something that will band us together and is so fulfilling that the satisfaction is indescribable?
John 13:34-35
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another."
are you willing to reveal yourself as a son of God in this Easter?
are you willing to stay united, love one another and show His love to the world in this last 3 days?
can we really fill the 95 empty hearts and crying voices in the world out there?
can we show them who our Jesus is?
